- 2 cans (15 oz each) green beans drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ⅓ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups crispy fried onions (divided)
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and minced garlic. Sauté until they become translucent and slightly caramelized.
In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce and black pepper.
Add the drained green beans and 1 cup crispy fried onions to the bowl and stir. Then, fold in the sautéed onions and garlic.
Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and bake for 25 minutes, or until heated through.
Remove from the oven and top with the remaining 1 cup of crispy fried onions.
Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
